Split video city walk

Split is a city built inside a Roman palace, and that is not a figure of speech: the old town is the palace, with shops and flats and bars fitted into the walls over sixteen centuries. Walking it means going through gates and along corridors that were designed for something else entirely, then out onto a wide seafront promenade with palm trees and ferries. Few cities change character that completely in one step.
