Mexico City video city walk

The historic centre of Mexico City is one of the busiest pedestrian environments anywhere, and it is flat, wide and relentless. Colonial stone buildings sit at street level above hardware shops and phone repair stalls; the streets around the Zócalo are closed to cars and completely full of people, sound systems and food. It is not a quiet or a pretty walk in the postcard sense. It is a very good one, because there is more happening per hundred metres than almost anywhere.
