Málaga walk idle, muted.
Málaga is a small centre with a very large amount of light. The old streets are marble-paved, pedestrian and narrow enough to stay in shade, then open onto a square or the port and the glare arrives all at once. The seafront is a different walk entirely — palm trees, wide promenade, nothing above two storeys. Doing both on foot in one route is about twenty minutes, and the change in temperature between them is noticeable even through a screen.
